'They've done it again!': Fans beam with pride as Team India crush South Africa to win back-to-back U19 T20 World Cup title
The young Indian girls put on a stellar performance, clinching their back-to-back title by defeating South Africa at Bayuemas Oval, Kuala Lumpur. This was reminiscent of Virat Kohli's U19 team, who defeated South Africa in Malaysia to win the 2008 final.

Undefeated and unstoppable! This is how the Indian women's cricket team has been in the ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup 2025 tournament. The young Indian girls put on a stellar performance, clinching their back-to-back title by defeating South Africa at Bayuemas Oval, Kuala Lumpur. This was reminiscent of Virat Kohli's U19 team, who defeated South Africa in Malaysia to win the 2008 final.
Both teams remained unbeaten throughout the tournament, but history was made as India became the first team to win the U19 Women's T20 World Cup with an undefeated record.

About the final clash
South Africa won the toss and opted to bat first against Niki Prasad¡¯s side, which turned out to be a costly decision given India's strong bowling attack. The Indian bowlers never allowed the Proteas to settle, taking wickets at regular intervals. South Africa¡¯s dangerwoman, Jemma Botha, was dismissed cheaply for 16 off 14 balls. The highest run-scorer for South Africa was Mieke van Voorst, who managed 23 off 18 balls. The team was all out for 82 runs in 20 overs.
Gongadi Trisha was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets, while Vaishnavi Sharma, Aayushi Shukla, and Parunika Sisodia each took two wickets. Shabnam Shakil also contributed, taking the prized wicket of Botha.
