JEE Main 2023 will be held in two sessions this year like it was last year. The first and second sessions are scheduled to be held in January and April, respectively. 2023 Session 1 for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) will be held on 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31 January 2023 while session 2 for on 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11 and 12 April 2023.
JEE Main has remained consistent in its format and no significant changes have been made so far. A total of two sessions will be held for JEE Main. In section A, you will find Multiple-choice questions (MCQa), while in Section B, you will find questions that require a number of answers.
Section A is mandatory, and the correct answer earns four points, while incorrect answers lose one point. Candidates are required to attempt five out of ten questions in Section B and also there will be no falling grades in the Section.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the exam date for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023. According to the new dates - Session 1 for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) will be held on January 24, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31 and February 1 2023 followed by Session 2 on 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11 and 12 April 2023. What is the age limit for JEE Main 2023?
According to the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in there is no age limit for the candidates who want to appear for the exam. Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations from any of the recognized boards in the year 2021 or 2022, including those appearing in 2023.
Qualification for JEE Main
The candidates must have qualified in five subjects - Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject, Any other subject.
Candidates who want admission in B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Plan in IIITs, NITs and CFITs need to secure minimum 75% marks while 65% for SC/ST category candidates or should fall under the top 20 percentile of their respective boards.

JEE Main Exam Pattern Detailed Description
The JEE Main exam pattern specifies how the exam will be conducted and how the question paper will be set. Previously, JEE Main was conducted in four sections, but in 2022 it was conducted in two sections. However, we have not yet received a notification from the exam authority regarding the same.

There will be two sections in each subject - Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) in section A while Section B contains 10 questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value and 5 questions will have answers to be filled in as a numerical value out of 10 and there will also negative marking for section B.
