Life is hard for people with disability, what makes things harder for then is 'inconsiderate' blokes around them. Well, it seems like that the world is full of it.?
Amit Patel, a resident of London who is visually impaired had the misfortune of encountering some of these ungrateful souls.?
In a heartbreaking Twitter post, Patel shared a story of how commuters in the London subway didn't budge to give seats for him and his guide dog at the disabled priority section.?
That's how selfish people can be!?
But his ordeal didn't seem to end there, he caught another thankless man asking him to move his guide dog aside - just so he could get down a London Underground escalator.?
Speaking to the London Evening Standard after the incident, Amit said: "Moments like this are destroying, it really knocks my confidence."
According to the report, Amit Patel was a doctor until he lost his sight, and it's his guide dog Kika who helps with every little thing.
It makes us feel sad to read and hear about such incidents. A little consideration, a little empathy is all it takes to be a little more human. Come on guys, we're supposed to be better than this.
