Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have always been close friends. However, things changed between them when, in 2012, SRK lost his composure and slapped Shirish Kunder. Naturally, the actor's behaviour irked Shirish's wife Farah, who stopped speaking to him. But they quickly made up.?
In a recent video that has appeared online, Farah discussed how she has always believed that her father sent SRK to take care of her. She also remembered how he had stalled his shoot once to be with her when she had experienced emotional distress.
On Reddit, a conversation between Farah Khan and SRK from the past has been making the rounds. Farah is seen in the video explaining what Shah Rukh meant to her.?She says, ¡°I always tell everybody that my dad passed away but he sent you to look after me. And I really want to thank you because you look after me. I can recall one incident when I was going through an emotional trauma on phone.¡±
She adds, ¡°I don¡¯t even know if you remember it because I¡¯ve been through so many traumas but I was crying on the phone and within half an hour, you left your shoot and were there for me. When I opened the door, you were standing outside my house. You came in and you sat with me for an hour and you talked to me. It was like having the best therapy ever.¡±
At Sanjay Dutt's party in 2012, Farah Khan said that Shah Rukh had assaulted her husband.?She had told Headlines Today, "Shirish, my husband, was beaten up by Shah Rukh and his three bodyguards at Sanjay Dutt's party. Shah Rukh asked Shirish why he had tweeted against him... There was no provocation from our side. He had screamed at Shirish telling him that he would destroy me as well."
But they quickly buried the hatchet. In reality, Happy New Year, directed by Farah, included SRK as well.
