The Narthan-directed Bhairathi Ranagal is a sequel and a prequel to the blockbuster Mufti. The recently-released film is a crime action drama that features Shivanna in the role of a crime boss. The plot focuses on the protagonist's rise in the world of crime. The film also explores the events that take place after what was shown in Mufti.
