Because of her new series Citadel, our very own desi girl who has taken over Hollywood is currently in the news. And why not? The spy-thriller contains a lot of components that will keep you interested as the series goes along. On top of the growing anticipation, Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra are dazzling everyone with their steamy chemistry, among other things.
As a result, I too had been waiting to watch Citadel, and although the first episode did seem a little slow to me, it is only the beginning, right??
Aage aage dekho hota hai kya, as they say. Others may think that it's just another spy series, but I say let's wait a week and see how it goes because there are a lot of reasons why it could end up becoming a huge success. And what are those reasons? Let¡¯s take a look!
In addition to being fantastic actors, don't you think that Priyanka Chopra, Richard Madden, Stanley Tucci, Moira Kelly, and others make the ideal glam squad?
Because of her outstanding performances in films like Bajirao Mastani, Agneepath, Dil Dhadakne Do, and many others, we are familiar with Priyanka and are aware of her talent. She has worked on some of the most incredible films, and let's embrace the fact that ever since she moved, she has been shining brightest in Hollywood.?
And let's admit it, Priyanka playing a badass, hot-looking-spy sounds about right.
Richard Madden, the other lead, has previously shown that he is a skilled actor with his roles in Eternals, Bodyguard, Game of Thrones, and numerous other productions. And Internet is sure excited to see the 'King In The North' in this series.
Overall, this duo will undoubtedly succeed as the series goes on.
The Russo Brothers, also known as Joe and Anthony Russo, are the directors of Citadel and they are known for perfection, precision and perseverance.
Their work on Avengers: Endgame, Captain America: Civil War, The Grey Man, You, Me, and Dupree, among other projects, have demonstrated why they are one of our best directors. Their insistence on putting magic on screen gives us faith that Citadel won't be a waste of time and will instead turn out to be a show that we may all become addicted to.
The subject matter of the show revolves around spies trying to save themselves while performing their duties, as the first two episodes reveal. We will witness more steamy exchanges between Priyanka and Richard as the plot develops. Additionally, Nadia (Priyanka) is already fighting for her life and performing some of the most incredible action scenes two episodes in. All of these elements are anticipated to increase in the future, and if the excitement remains constant, these elements may come into play perfectly.?
We are all aware of how a strong lens perspective may change the outcome of? a series or movie. And a poor one can end up being the worst thing that could happen to a project. However, Citadel's incredible cinematography is what has grabbed my attention since the first episode. A well-integrated cinematic portrayal might range from low-angle shots that emphasise dominance and activity to close-up shots that concentrate on a person's expression, to name just two examples. A couple sequences from a bird's-eye perspective, the camera panning when it needs to, and everything sounds and appears flawless.
As a fan of the James Bond series, i've noticed how the creators use only the most incredible tools and machinery to help Bond carry out his missions. And with that, we witness the effective use of spy tools like a radar, a full-screen display that shows a person's location, a mirror with a camera, and little earbuds for conversation in the first 80 minutes of the series. It will be intriguing to observe how those machines are put to use and what other innovations are ahead.
Considering these points, It'll most certainly wind up making the series a big part of my binge marathon instead of immediately dismissing it for being ¡®just another spy project.¡¯
You can stream Citadel on Amazon Prime Video.
