The jury deliberated for under four hours before acquitting Simpson of both murders in October 1995. However, a civil trial in February 1997 ruled Simpson responsible for Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman's deaths. Simpson was found guilty in October 2008 of robbing a Las Vegas sports memorabilia dealer. In 2017, he was granted parole after receiving a 33-year prison sentence.
At the age of 76, Simpson passed away from cancer in April 2024.
