Hosted by none other than Anil Kapoor, Friday night's premiere of Bigg Boss OTT 3 was brimming with drama. One of the competitors entering the Bigg Boss house this season is the well-known actor Ranvir Shorey, who has recently been out of work. As per a page called BiggBossTak, that gives updates about the show. A contestant called Shivani Kumari, asked Ranvir, "Aap kya karte ho, kaun ho? (what do you do?)"
To this, Ranvir replied, "I am an actor. I've done first film in the year 1999."
He added, "Aaj kaam hota toh yaha kyu hota. Aapka toh acha hai khud he sab banao, khud he kamao. Aajkal ye thodi nayi technology aa gayi hai. Hum thode purane jamane ke hai."
Now, fans have been praising Ranvir Shorey for being honest about his position in Bollywood right now.
?One wrote, ¡°I support him Just because he is doing best in the Bollywood industry doing well because he is build carrier hustling and struggle.¡±
Another added, ¡°Truth of Bollywood. Refined actors like him has to do BiggBoss while nepos do multiple movies without even knowing "A" of acting.¡±

Shorey made the decision to sign up for Bigg Boss OTT 3 at a time when he is having trouble finding work in Bollywood. He also talked about having a lot of time but not getting any work back in 2018.
"You should talk to the filmmakers, especially the mainstream ones and ask them why they don't give me work. I did Ek Tha Tiger, but I wasn't in Tiger Zinda Hai. I know and I feel that I'm ignored," Ranvir told PTI.
"I feel I've been deliberately side-lined by the mainstream filmmakers, but I don't let that bother me. If I start thinking about that, I'll lose focus on what I need to do and have to do. I want to do more work. I have time but no work," he added.
With the release of "Ek Chhotisi Love Story" in 2002, he made his film debut. He has given iconic performances in hit movies like "Jism," "Lakshya," and highly regarded productions like "Khosla Ka Ghosla," "Traffic Signal," and "Bheja Fry" over the years. He co-starred with Swara Bhaskar in the 2018 short film Shame. He also starred with Sushant Singh Rajput, Ashutosh Rana, and Manoj Bajpayee in the 2019 movie Sonchiriya.
