Dhoom Dhaam OTT Details: After the birth of her first child in May 2024, Yami Gautam Dhar is all set to mark her return to acting with this upcoming direct-to-digital release. Starring Yami alongside Pratik Gandhi in a lighthearted comedy centred around an arranged marriage, Dhoom Dhaam will be streaming on Netflix. While an official release date is yet to be confirmed, there's speculation that it might premiere around Valentine¡¯s Day 2025.?
Directed by Rishab Seth, Dhoom Dhaam is bankrolled by Yami's husband, filmmaker Aditya Dhar. The film's announcement was creatively made through a matrimonial advertisement shared by Netflix India on Instagram, playfully introducing the lead characters. Yami, as Koyal Chadda from Mumbai, is portrayed in a wedding outfit with a humorous description of herself.
The ad reads, "Marriageable age. Sanskaari, spiritual, and homely girl. Looking for a susheel family oriented groom. Marriage is a wild ride and I'm not a passenger princess If my doggy likes you, then rishta pakka samjho." Pratik, playing Dr. Veer, a 29-year-old veterinarian from Gujarat, also features in a similar ad.
His ad reads, "Want to retire from bachelor life, so looking for Mrs. Right. Living in DRY state (Ahmedabad roxx) but ready to intoxicate you with unconditional love. "Adventure" is my middle name. Will garba right into your heart." While Koyal and Veer seem to be a perfect match at first glance, the story promises a lot of twists and turns that will bring in drama and comedy.
The film is currently being shot, with both Yami and Pratik sharing a fun working relationship. Yami recently shared a thank-you message for Pratik, who treated her to some baked goodies after a long day of shooting. Dhoom Dhaam is co-produced by Aditya along with his brother Lokesh Dhar, in collaboration with Jio Studios. This one¡¯s a Keshav Dhar musical.
