Ghostbusters Frozen Empire OTT release date: After a long wait, Ghostbusters Frozen Empire will soon drop on OTT.? The Spengler family makes a comeback in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, which debuted in theaters earlier this year. Soon, you'll be able to stream it while you unwind at home if you missed watching it in the theater. For the Indian audience, Ghostbusters Frozen Empire will start streaming on Netflix on 26th July 2024. For the international audience, the film was made available on 22nd July.?
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is the sequel of Ghostbusters: Afterlife which was released back in 2021. The legendary New York City firehouse, where the original Ghostbusters elevated ghost-busting to a different dimension, welcomes the Spengler family back. In the film, together, the new and also old Ghostbusters must battle an evil power unleashed by the discovery of an ancient item in order to defend their home and prevent a possible second ice age.
Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Celeste O'Connor, and Logan Kim are among the movie's cast members. There are additional cameos from Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts, and William Atherton. Among the new and exciting cast members are Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt, James Acaster, and Emily Alyn Lind.

On March 22, 2024, the film made its theatrical debut and grossed $201 million globally. Sony Pictures announced the sequel in April 2022, with Reitman returning as director, in response to Afterlife's success. Later that December, Reitman continued in his role as co-writer and co-producer, while Kenan, his executive producer and co-writer, assumed directing duties.??
The film got mixed reviews from critics and audiences on the other hand had a good time watching it. It will hence be interesting to see if Ghostbusters Frozen Empire will be able to impress viewers on OTT.
