With The Archies, Khushi Kapoor is ready to make her acting debut as Betty Cooper.
?Since its announcement, there has been a lot of buzz surrounding the musical drama film. Agastya Nanda, the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, and Suhana Khan, the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan, are also making their acting debuts along with Khushi. Bollywood celebrities were present for a special screening held last night, arranged by the makers. As for her look, Khushi Kapoor looked stunning in a sequin gown.?
She actually wore a gown her mum wore at the 2013 IIFA red carpet. The gown is floor length and heavily embellished with sequins. She accessorized?the ensemble with a shiny neck piece to up the ante. She had her hair up in a bun and exuded confidence as she posed on the red carpet.?
?A source close to Khushi revealed as per Indiatoday: "Khushi is extremely happy to pay a tribute to her mother as she wears such an iconic gown which was once worn by her mother. She is also wearing Sridevi¡¯s jewellery for the red carpet. This is a very special day for Khushi. It is particularly an emotional debut.¡±??
Because Khushi promotes a confident attitude to personal style, she has become an inspiration to the younger generation.
About her "go to fashion" motto, Khushi stated, as reported by IANS, "I don't think there are rules in fashion. I think if you look good in something and like wearing it, you should completely own it. I also feel that confidence can elevate any outfit and do whatever makes you feel good."
Agastya Nanda, Khushi, Suhana Khan, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Aditi Saigal, and Yuvraj Menda are among the actors who star in the film. It is written by Reema Kagti.
"The Archies," a moving coming-of-age story set against the picturesque backdrop of the 1960s, immerses viewers in the life of a cherished group of teens.
Archie Comics, Graphic India, Tiger Baby, and Netflix India worked together to produce the movie.
It will be released on Netflix on December 7.
