Amit Sial is well-known for his parts in notable dramas like Love Sex Aur Dhokha, Inside Edge, Jamtara and Mirzapur. The actor has recently been winning over the audience with his portrayal of Navin Kumar, Bheema's political adversary and the Maharani's spouse.
The actor, who is preparing for the second season of the well-liked political drama "Maharani," has stated that he doesn't evaluate the deeds and ideas of his characters because if he did he wouldn't be able to give the parts the respect they deserve.
Amit said, "Over a period of time, I try to keep my personal opinions and life as far away as possible from my characters."
He further added, "As an actor, I don't have the luxury of judging my characters, that's entirely the audience's prerogative. It is up to them to judge my characters, like them or hate them. My job as an actor is to play those characters with utmost honesty and that's what I try to do."
Sial, who is now reflecting on his life, had owned a restaurant in east Delhi and holds a postgraduate diploma in international business from the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia.
He said: "I tried my hand at different professions but nothing satisfied me or made me happy as much as the job of acting. I had to come back to it. Meanwhile, I opened the takeaway, thinking agar paise nahi kamaaye toh khaane ko toh mil jaayega."
SonyLIV will begin streaming Season 2 of "Maharani," which also stars Huma Qureshi and Sohum Shah, on August 25.
