Millions of fans, his family, and his fellow FRIENDS cast members were shocked to learn of Matthew Perry's passing. The performer who made us laugh nonstop struggled for a very long time with addiction and mental health difficulties. He also accomplished a lot of film work, but did you know that he had to leave a production for a horrifying reason?
In his memoir "Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing," Perry, who has battled sobriety for decades, revealed that he had to leave the 2021 satire due to a medical emergency that stopped his heart for five minutes.

If I hadn¡¯t been on ¡®Friends,¡¯ would he have stopped at three minutes? Did ¡®Friends¡¯ save my life again?¡±
