Here's how people are reacting:
"Alcock + Fahy + Moore + Bacon = Netflix¡¯s strongest cast lineup this season. Greek tragedy vibes with a modern twist? May 22 can't come soon enough," one fan wrote.
Another added, "Bringing the sisterly drama ¡ª can't wait to see it, sibling!"
"Omg this cast?? This chaos?? This ENERGY?? I'm SO ready for the sister drama," said a thrilled viewer.
Netflix's new limited series Sirens is bringing together a powerhouse cast, including Julianne Moore, Meghann Fahy, Milly Alcock, and Kevin Bacon.
The story centres around Devon, played by Fahy, who becomes deeply concerned about her sister Simone's unsettling bond with her mysterious new boss, Michaela Kell, a glamorous and unpredictable socialite portrayed by Moore.
Simone, played by Alcock, is drawn to Michaela's high-gloss world, one that feels more like a cult than a lifestyle.?
It's intoxicating, and Devon knows something isn't right. She decides to step in, but what starts as an intervention quickly escalates into a tense showdown. Michaela is far more dangerous than she appears.
Set over a single, tension-filled weekend at Michaela¡¯s opulent beach estate, Sirens dives into themes of ambition, power dynamics, and the twisted complexities of sisterhood, all with a sharp, darkly comedic edge.
Series creator and executive producer Molly Smith Metzler describes it as bold and emotionally charged.?
"This story has a lot of teeth," she says. ¡°There are real moments of drama, and it's going to make people uncomfortable."
She adds, "Operatic is a word I like to use to describe it. It's a true dark comedy ¡ª and it's got a Greek mythology vibe."
Joining the lead cast are Glenn Howerton (BlackBerry, It¡¯s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Felix Solis (Ozark, The Recruit), and Bill Camp (The Queen¡¯s Gambit, A Man in Full).
