Later, the gun is discarded in a canal, only to be found by Savitri, a sanitation worker who is trying to pay off a loan shark. In a desperate move, she attempts to sell the gun, but instead, she ends up using it to shoot her abuser, Moorthy, who had assaulted her daughter, Aarthi.
Meanwhile, Anitha's father unknowingly kills an innocent man, Kathir, thinking he is his daughter's lover.?
Raja, a man trying to save his wife Rachel, murders a social worker in a failed attempt to raise money for her surgery, only to realise he killed the person who could have saved her life.?
Madhi, a newlywed, discovers her husband's secret and takes violent action against her in-laws.
