Paatal Lok season 2 OTT release: Plot, cast, crew, and everything about Jaideep Ahlawat's upcoming show

Amazon Prime Video's Indian Hindi-language crime thriller show Paatal Lok is coming back with season 2 soon. One of the most anticipated shows on Prime Video was loosely based on Tarun Tejpal's 2010 novel. Now Prime Video has officially announced its season 2 of the show with a brand-new poster to excite fans. Though the OTT release date is yet to be announced, here's everything that we know so far:?

Why is?Paatal Lok's upcoming season so special?

One of the best dark crime thrillers, Paatal Lok has a star cast that includes Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhishek Banerjee, Neeraj Kabi, Swastika Mukherjee, and Anindita Bose, among others.

The story of the show is about an inspector named Hathi Ram Chaudhary, who is a disillusioned Delhi cop yearning for a compelling case. His life takes a turn when he investigates a high-profile conspiracy involving the arrest of four individuals by the Delhi police.

The series has an intense narrative with nine episodes. Since the show is inspired by Tarun Tejpal's book The Story of My Assassins, the upcoming season too is expected to explore the sinister underworld and its connections to power, corruption, and identity in continuation to what we saw in season 1.

All about the Paatal Lok season 2 announcement

Prime Video on December 13 treated fans with the confirmation for season 2 with a poster featuring Jaideep Ahlawat.

The poster showed the character’s intense gaze, reflected against the edge of a knife, symbolising the gritty tone of the upcoming season.
