Pharma OTT Release: Where to watch Nivin Pauly’s Malayalam-lingual debut web series based on true incidents

Pharma OTT Release: Nivin Pauly is all set to make his web series debut with this long-awaited project announced last year. The show premiered at the 55th International Film Festival of India on 27 November and earned massive praise from viewers. While the streaming date is yet to be announced, Pharma will be releasing on Disney+ Hotstar anytime soon.

Other than Nivin, Pharma also stars Rajit Kapur, Narain, Shruti Ramachandran, Veena Nandakumar and Muthumani among others. Directed by P. R. Arun, the series has been produced by Krishnan Sethukumar under the banner of Movie Mill. Abhinandan Ramanujam has cinematographed this with Sreejith Sarang on the editing desk and Jakes Bejoy composing the music.

Pharma plot summary

The show revolves around the challenges faced by a middle-class young man who becomes a medical representative in the pharmaceutical sector during his twenties. His effort to comprehend the game’s rules and his advancement in his 30s where he must confront corruption within the industry makes up the major premise. I think it’s a story that must be told and shared," Nivin Pauly said in a statement to PTI. “I’m thrilled to join Pharma, which marks 25 years since I played a role in Agnisakshi. I am eager to collaborate with Kerala’s skilled team and PR Arun. I put my faith in the prepared producers and their careful research," said Rajit in another interview.
