About Sukhee
The film tells the story of Sukhee, a homemaker who decides to take a break from her everyday life and travel to Delhi to hang out with her friends. On the surface, the movie seems lively and funny, yet some of the dialogue seems to be tackling topics like women's empowerment and patriarchy. It draws attention to the social norms that frequently force women to put family obligations ahead of their own goals.
On September 22, the film opened in theaters. Shilpa most recently starred with Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia in the action-comedy Nikamma, which comes out in 2022.
