(Spoilers ahead, you know what to do)
At Saravanan¡¯s house, Kutty and his men show up to confront him about an unpaid loan he had taken for his project. Meanwhile, Kumudha is preoccupied with the thought of gathering Rs 5 lakhs to begin her IVF treatment, driven by her strong desire to become a mother. She turns to her principal for financial help, but is dismissed from her job for visiting Arjun¡¯s house with his son, despite repeated warnings.
Overwhelmed by debt and humiliated by Kumudha¡¯s harsh words, Saravanan reaches a breaking point. Desperate for a way out, he discovers Arjun¡¯s son at home and seizes the opportunity. He calls Arjun, demanding that he get out in the opening over of the upcoming India-Pakistan match otherwise he will do something to his son. Saravanan then contacts Dharmesh, the leader of a betting syndicate, offering to rig the match in return for INR 5 lakh and the cancellation of his loan.
After learning that Saravanan has abducted Arjun's son, Kutty contacts him and says he shouldn¡¯t have done it, as involving kids and families is against their code. He then threatens to kill Saravanan¡¯s wife, Kumudha, which jolts Saravanan into a sudden realisation. Saravanan had told Arjun to make India lose the match, leaving Arjun torn between his son's safety and his duty to the country. Ultimately, Arjun chose to play brilliantly and led India to victory.
Saravanan spirals into a full-blown psychotic state, realising he can no longer hide his crime. He calls Kumudha, tells her to go ahead with her IVF treatment, and asks her never to return. This shocks Kumudha, making her realise she should never have left Arjun¡¯s son with someone so dangerous.
She rushes home and finds Saravanan torturing the boy. In a desperate attempt to save him, she grabs a bat and strikes Saravanan, killing her deranged husband to protect Arjun¡¯s son. To answer if Kumudha had a baby or not, it's safe to assume that she did not, since she came back to save Arjun¡¯s son and missed her appointment.?
If we go by what social media users are saying, then while the story isn¡¯t that gripping, the lead cast did a fantastic job.?
One wrote, ¡°The movie isn't anything too special, but R. Madhavan's performance is absolutely brilliant. Nayanthara and Siddharth also did a good job.¡±
?Another added, ¡°Test on Netflix: Very dull and boring screenplay which doesn¡¯t excite you at even one point and the background score is equally underwhelming. Madhavan and Nayanthara¡¯s performance was the only saving grace.¡±
A third wrote, ¡°Highly Potential actors in an emotionless dull Drama. Mega Serial kinda Narration from start to end. Maddy & Nayan Gud Perf. Sid¡¯s character is weak.¡±
