The Boy and the Heron OTT release date has been set. One of the best Anime films made, the Studio Ghibli production is all ready to enthrall people with its plotline. Although it is not an adaptation, the Japanese title of the film alludes to Genzaburō Yoshino's 1937 novel of the same name. Masaki Suda and Soma Santoki are among the Japanese voice actors. The Boy and the Heron will release on Netflix on 7th October 2024.?

Plot

It is a film about a child named Mahito Maki who, after his mother dies, goes to the country, finds an abandoned tower next to his new house, and ventures into a magical world where a talking grey heron lives. On July 14, 2023, Toho premiered The Boy and the Heron in theaters around Japan. It was shown in regular theaters as well as additional screens like IMAX.

Cast and crew

Studio Ghibli is the producer, and Hayao Miyazaki is the director. Soma Santoki, Masaki Suda, Ko Shibasaki, Aimyon, Yoshino Kimura, Takuya Kimura, Kaoru Kobayashi, and Shinobu Otake are among the Japanese voice actors.?
