The Spanish satirical science fiction movie The Platform 2 is arriving soon on OTT. The upcoming movie has been directed by Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia and scheduled to be released on Netflix on October 4. Plot?

Platform 2 is set to have its premiere at the San Sebastian Film Festival this month. The movie is a sequel to 2019 The Platform. Wondering what the story this time will be? The movie is set in a vertical jail that has lots of floors. A dumbwaiter is shown delivering food to all the hundreds of floors. The story progresses when inmates who are on the upper floors in the prison take all the food and leave nothing for the prisoners who are below. The whole plot revolves around how the prisoners survive. The movie focusses on social inequality and survival ways.

The Platform 2 just like its part 1 will start at the vertical prison with a survival theme. The film, apart from old characters and roles, will have new characters and themes of social inequality.

The Platform 2 will be released online next month but before that the film will have its premiere at the San Sebastián Film Festival in September.
