Kharka Darka OTT Release: Several Punjabi movies have taken centre stage lately and are being loved worldwide for their unique stories that hit home. Another one arriving on your digital screens is Jagdeep Maan’s latest rural drama. Titled Kharka Darka, this film will be streaming on Chaupal from December 16, 2024, and the details of which are now out.

Directed by Dilawar Sidhu, the Punjabi drama also stars Maninder Gill, Mandeep Mani, Vicky Gill, Gurinder Makna, Sunny Gill, Dilawar Sidhu, Narinder Dhillon, Neeti Shiwani, Satinder Dhiman, and Mukesh Chandelia among others. Kharka Darka is produced by Jagdeep Maan and Jass Mann with Raju Verma writing its story, screenplay and dialogues.

Bittu Gill worked as the DOP, Sagar Punjabi as the Associate Director, Sokhi Singh as the Art Director and Pawan Kaith and Mani Manki edited the film. While Sandeep Bajpai handled Digital Intermediate (DI), Satnam Dada, Sargam and Mani Manki worked as assistant directors. Mr. Puzzle (Dynex) composed Kharka Darka’s album with Kashi Nath and Roop Kaur giving their vocals.

Kharka Darka’s plot summary

As per the trailer, Kharka Darka revolves around three kids who lose their parents and are left all alone. Luckily, they're taken in by Rani Maa, a kind and brave woman who gives them a loving home. As they grow up, they face many difficulties, but Rani Maa teaches them to chase their dreams while staying on the right path. With her support and their hard work, the kids grow up to be remarkable people, each with their own unique qualities.
