Adithattu OTT release date Prime Video: When to watch Shine Tom Chacko, Sunny Wayne’s Malayalam sea thriller

Adithattu OTT release date and platform: Jijo Antony’s Kerala State Film Award-winning movie has finally found a digital home after two long years of its theatrical release. Starring Shine Tom Chacko and Sunny Wayne in the lead, Adithattu will premiere on Prime Video and Manorama MAX together from November 15 onwards.

Adithattu plot

Set extensively in a sea backdrop, Adithattu revolves around seven fishermen who embark on a boat journey on the sea hoping for a catch that would change their fortunes. Though they all have their purpose on the boat, the reason for the alleged suicide by their ex-captain Stalin is still a mystery with one of them being a possible suspect. Watch out to know whether that disturbs their dynamics with each other in the middle of the sea.

Released in theatres on June 1, 2022, this slow-burn thriller attempts to portray the socio-economic scenario of these people who risk their lives in the hope of changing their fortunes.

The film shot across Thangassery, Kappil, and Varkala has been scripted by Khais Millen. Other than Shine as Ambross and Sunny as Marcos, Adithattu also features V. I. S. Jayapalan as Dinkan, Alexander Prasanth as Srank Raayan, Mullan Ani as Mulan, Joseph Yesudas as Kambli, Murugan Martine as Nelson, and Sabumon Abdusamad. The thriller has been bankrolled by Susan Joseph, Sin Treesa, Jijo Anthony, and Vineesh Vijayan.
