Docu-drama Wyatt Earp and The Cowboy War OTT release date is out after a lot of anticipation. The six-episode television series is based on the life of Wyatt Earp (1848-1929), a lawman and gunfighter who fought the Billy Clanton and gang, also known as The Cowboys. The epic rivalry between Wyatt Earp and Ike Clanton has been adapted for the screen numerous times in the past. Kurt Russell had his most well-known appearance in the 1993 adaption Tombstone.? Wyatt Earp and The Cowboy War will be released on the OTT platform Netflix from August 21.
As per Netflix, the account of Wyatt Earp (1848¨C1929), a lawman and gunfighter who faced the Billy Clanton and gang, often known as The Cowboys, is the basis for Wyatt Earp and The Cowboy War. When Earp, his brothers Virgil and Morgan, and a buddy, Doc Holliday, attempted to disarm Clanton and his crew for suspected robbery and murder in 1881, tensions amongst them developed. There was a significant gunfight at the OK Corral after this. After killing Frank McLaury, Billy Clanton, and Tom McLaury, Earp killed a number of gang members and managed to evade assassination attempts. Wyatt Earp is known to be a strong man who faced all of this with a brave front.
Wyatt Earp and The Cowboy War stars Tim Fellingham, Edward Franklin, Jack Gordon, Peter O'Meara, and Christian Mackay. It is directed by Patrick Reams. On the other hand, Stephen David, Patrick Reams and Jon Soule are serving as the executive producers.
