There are good films; there are bad films; awesome, exciting and overwhelming films and THEN there is Sooryavansham.
Some people call this movie a flop, but to be honest, it is an insult to the epitome of a cult classic ever made. Sooryavansham is the true definition of a sleeper hit. Over the years, the love for this movie has only grown, all thanks to Set Max.?
Set Max acted like my mother who used to tell me, ¡°spend time with your cousin, I¡¯m sure you¡¯ll like her¡± when I was a kid. After watching Sooryavansham, I realised she was right. No matter how many jokes and memes I laugh at, the film remains to be one of my greatest guilty pleasures of all time.?
So much so, that when Rohit Shetty¡¯s Sooryavanshi was announced, I thought it¡¯s a sequel to the Amitabh Bachchan starrer. My heart skipped a beat, and then a wave of disappointment and dissatisfaction took over.??
As the movie completes 21 years, here are 21 reasons why we all deserve a Sooryavasham sequel.?
