Imran Khan Might Have Quit Acting But He's A Good Director, Says His Best Friend Akshay Oberoi

But there is a ray of hope as the former actor has notgiven up yet. He has brushed up his real talent and that’s direction accordingto his best buddy Akshay Oberoi, who is also an actor.

Talking about Imran, Akshay said, “My best friendin Bollywood is Imran Khan, who is no longer an actor because he has quitacting. Imran is my closest friend, whom I can get up at 4 am and call. Me andImran have been with each other for almost 18 years, we studied acting togetherat Kishore Acting School in Andheri West”.

Further adding, Oberoi said, “See, Imran Khan hasleft acting at the moment. As far as I know, there is a better writer anddirector inside Imran, I do not know when he will direct his film himself, I amnot going to put any pressure, but as a friend, I think so he will direct hisfilm soon. Also, when Imran directs, I know he will make a wonderful filmbecause his sensibility and understanding of cinema is very high.”

Clearly we are waiting for his smashing directorialdebut. Right?
