Actor?Shah Rukh Khan?is all set to star in multiple projects this year. The?King of Bollywood?is celebrating his 30-year-long journey in the Hindi film industry.?

The actor was only 15 years old when his father passed away. He was born on November 2, 1965, in a Muslim family in New Delhi. From working with his father in a tea stall as a kid to building a successful career, SRK has achieved a feat that only some dare to dream of.?

The film featured SRK as a wealthy London-based graduate who couldn't marry the love of his life. The beautiful character of his childhood sweetheart, Paro, was played by Aishwariya Rai Bachchan. The duo couldn't marry each other due to the stark difference in family status. The movie also featured Madhuri Dixit as Chandramukhi, who devoted her life to Devdas.?

2. Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge: Who can forget this blockbuster musical romance? DDLJ is one of Shah Rukh Khan's career-defining movies that had won millions of hearts. His character Raj in the 1995 movie falls in love with a Simran, portrayed by Kajol. The duo travelled through Europe together in the movie along with their friends. Raj tries to win over Simran's family, who were already getting her married to a boy from a known family back in India. However, Simran's father, who has promised her hand to his friend's son becomes the barrier in their relationship. The film ends with a happy ending. The film was widely praised. Many applauded it for its connection to different segments of society by simultaneously promoting strong family values and the following of one's own heart.?

3. Chak De India:?In this 2007 film, SRK portrayed the character of a cocky yet supportive hockey coach of the Indian women’s hockey team. The Bollywood Baadshah impressed the audience with his character Kabir Khan, who took the pain to train the Indian women's hockey team that had no unity while playing the sport. SRK like Kabir Khan sees the immense potential in the players and teaches the 16 young women from Indian states with different cultural backgrounds, the importance of team effort and eventually leading them to win the World Cup.?
