Nitesh Tiwari's forthcoming film, Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, is garnering a lot of buzz. However, newly leaked photographs of the key actors playing Lord Rama and Goddess Sita have stirred both adoration and criticism. On top of that, an old video of her comparing the Kashmiri Pandit exodus to cow vigilantism has gone viral.

As per an internet user, She said ¡°The film ¡®Kashmir Files¡¯ shows how Kashmiri Pandits were killed. Recently, there was an incident of a person being killed for carrying a cow because he was suspected to be a Muslim. After killing the person, the attackers raised ¡®Jai Shri Ram¡¯ slogans. Where is the difference between what happened in Kashmir and what happened recently?¡±.
The tweet adds, ¡°She claimed herself as Ideologically neutral but her views didn¡¯t support her claim. Comparing an isolated incident with a genocide is like comparing apples with Oranges.¡±
Reacting to this, one wrote, ¡°I think move will go for toss.¡±
Another added, ¡°Literally after reading this she lost her respect , i used to like her and was excited to watch her as mata sita and thought she would be perfect personality, I was wrong.¡±

A third went on to add, ¡°Should stfu on political statements and ideologies. they only know quarter truth.¡±
When Sai Pallavi Clarified Her Comments
She had said in a video, "After I watched the film The Kashmir Files, I had the opportunity to speak with the director. I was disturbed seeing the plight of people and the generations of people that are still affected by it. I would never belittle a tragedy like the genocide. Having said that, I can never come to terms with the mob lynching incident that happened during Covid times. I remember seeing that video and being shaken for days," she said.

"All I wanted to convey was that violence in the name of any religion is a huge sin. Many people online justified the mob lynching incidents. I believe all lives are important. I hope a day doesn't come when a child is born and he/she is afraid of his/her identity," she added.
"I will be thinking twice before I speak my heart because I am anxious that my words may be misinterpreted," Pallavi said.
"I felt alone and conflicted thinking what I did wrong. I felt like they [people who supported her] knew me for who I am," she went on to add.
