Known for reality shows like Splitsvilla 2, Bigg Boss 5 and?Khatron Ke Khiladi season 6, Sidharth Bhardwaj has been away from the showbiz from quite some time.?
The actor who made his Bollywood debut in 2014 with?Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi has apparently moved to the US and has become a stand-up comedian.?
He recently shared in an interview that director Mohit Suri offered him a "f**k all role" in Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Ek Villain. "I walked out of Mohit Suri¡¯s set. He was giving me a f*ck-all role," he told ETimes. The model actor said that Suri changed the script of Ek Villain. What was narrated to him was not what he had to shoot for. "In the first scene, I slap myself with shoes, I pee on myself and Siddharth Malhotra burns me alive. There¡¯s no recovery of me in the entire movie. I tried to discuss with him and I was also trying to make my name in the industry."
Now Mohit Suri has reacted to Sidharth Bhardwaj's claims. He rubbished them and said, "?No, that¡¯s not true. He didn¡¯t want to get beaten or even take a punch from Sidharth Malhotra in an action scene. And he did that on the day of the shoot. Sidharth Malhotra didn¡¯t even know about this.?
"But it was highly unprofessional for him to create a tantrum on the eve of the shoot, when the shot had to be taken. So I made my assistant director play the part. We didn¡¯t even have time to get another actor.??
Here's what he said in an Instagram video.
He wrote,?"I have nothing against mohit suri , if calling me highly unprofessional makes him sleep better at night then i gladly accept the compliment!"
