According to reports, the disclaimer should state that "there is no authenticated data to back up the suggestion on the figure of conversion and the film represents the fictionalized version."?
Meanwhile, makers of 'The Kerala Story' have announced a donation of Rs 51 lakhs for 300 victims of religious conversion.?
Speaking about the initiative during a press conference, film producer Vipul Shah said, "The main reason for us to make The Kerala Story, why Sudipto came forward with the story and made the film, is to help these girls. We're going to start by helping rehabilitate 300 girls in the ashram. We, Sunshine Pictures and the team of 'The Kerala Story', would like to start by donating Rs 51 lakh."
