Now, for the first time, Aamir Khan has indirectly opened up about the debacle of his latest release. The actor, who is known to follow the tradition of Paryushan Parva, a Jain festival, has shared a video apologising to his fans and asked them for forgiveness.?
This term actually means, ¡°If I have offended you in any way, knowingly or unknowingly, in thought, word or deed, then I seek your forgiveness.¡±
And Aamir , who has been following the tradition for several years now, has released a video which starts with the background voice saying 'Michhami Dukkadam¡¯.¡°Hum sab insaan hai, aur galityan insaan se hoti hai. Kabhi bol se, kabhi harkaton mein, kabhi mazak mein¡.Agar maine kissi tarah se aapka dil dukhaya hai, toh¡man vachan, kaaya se sama mangte ho¡(All of us are human beings and we only make mistakes. Sometimes through our words and sometimes by our actions, at times we do it without knowing and at times when we are angry)" these are the words that can be heard in the video clip released on the official Twitter account of Aamir Khan's productions.?

The film faced boycott calls from a section of people on social media. People also digged out old videos of Aamir Khan where he spoke of intolerance in India that fuelled hate-campaigns on Twitter.?
However, Aamir Khan had sincerely apologised for hurting anyone¡¯s feelings during one of the promotions of his film and assured that he loved his country, contrary to how people have judged him. The PK actor also requested the audience not to boycott his film and watch it.
