Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film has landed in controversymuch before its release. There arecertain sections who are unhappy with the?title of the?film as they feel it’san insult to a Hindu King.
And the latest report is that the film witnesseda strong demonstration by Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha who is demandingthe change of title. They have announced that if the makers won’t budge then they will face consequences.
As per reports, the organisation has strongly demanded that the name of the film cannot be just Prithviraj but should have the entire title of the King. They said that the full name of the film should be Hindu SamratPrithviraj Chauhan or Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan, They reasoned that he was thelast Hindu emperor and the film should give him full respect with regard of thetitle.
The members of the Mahasabha also warned thatif the makers fail to address their demand then the film will face the samefate as the Kshatriya Samaj did to Padmaavat and Jodha Akbar in the past.During the demonstration, slogans were shouted and effigies of the film’s producer-directorand lead actor Akshay Kumar were also burnt.
