5. Amitabh Bachchan's bankruptcy?

It all started after the 1996 Miss World Pageant, organized by Amitabh Bachchan's company ABCL, failed. Bachchan was left with no money, and all his properties were mortgaged. Then, Yash Raj offered him a role in Mohabbatein, a blockbuster that helped revive his career. He went on to do many commercials and shows like Kaun Banega Crorepati, through which he managed to sustain himself and reportedly pay off a debt of Rs 90 crores.??
