Bollywood star kid Ananya Panday, who has already done a handful of films such as Student of the Year 2, Khaali Peeli, Pati Patni Aur Woh and Gehraiyaan among others, has opened up about the most controversial topic in Bollywood,'NEPOTISM.'?
During an interview with leading media portal, the daughter of actor Chunky Panday accepted the fact that coming from a film background has given her an advantage over other stars as 'access is the hardest part to overcome'.?
Without hesitating to accept being a product of nepotism, Ananya Panday said, "The fact that I can meet a Karan Johar is something that is available to me because of my parents. But I also believe you can have access but what you do in that room is purely dependent on your talent. If you have access and don¡¯t have the talent to back it up, people won¡¯t invest their money in you. Having said that, I do believe nepotism exists and it exists in all industries, not just Bollywood."?
The 23-year-old actress, who is all set to star in Puri Jagannadh¡¯s Liger opposite south actor Vijay Deverakonda also revealed that she desired to be part of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt's film Gully Boy because it she thinks it was a ¡°cool¡± film. Meanwhile, Ananya is currently shooting for Zoya Akhtar¡¯s Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. In the flick, she will be seen romancing Siddhant and Adarsh Gourav.?
Ananya Panday, who is at the IIFA 2022 has also shared pictures from the rehearsals for the grand award show on her social media account. One of the picture shows her dancing with actor Shahid Kapoor.?
Moreover, Ananya Panday is set to rock the stage of IIFA with a song from Allu Arjun-Rashmika Mandanna Pushpa movie. Ananya Panday will be seen shaking a leg on the song Saami Saami.
