At a recent event,?Aparshakti Khurana who is basking in the success of Stree 2, was seen touching the feet of his elder brother and actor Ayushmann Khurrana. As the video, went viral, people praised their Sanskaar and lauded the brothers. Now the actor has spilled the beans on his tradition and how it came into existence.?
Aparshakti said that he has been doing this since he was eight years old. He wouldn't do this on his own but he was forced by his father?P Khurrana, an astrologer who passed away in 2023 after suffering from?heart-related problems. It was a lesson that his father wanted to teach him for not respecting his elder brother. So, he asked him touch Ayushmann's feet every morning or else he wouldn't be allowed to live in the house. The result of the same is that they don't have any conflict between even now, and as he said, they share a "Ram-Lakshman relationship."
"Then one day, when we were playing, we got into a fight and I called him something like ¡®saala¡¯ or ¡®kameena¡¯ or something and that day I was beaten up a lot. After that, the conclusion was that from this day on, you will call him ¡®bhaiya¡¯ and every morning you will touch his feet in the morning and that is the only way you can stay in this house, or you can¡¯t stay in this house," he revealed while talking to?Digital Commentary.
Aparshakti said that once he started doing this, the conflicts and fights between them almost ended. They didn't have any bad things to say about each other. "There is no room for a fight so it¡¯s a very old school Ram-Lakshman kind of a relationship. We have a very middle class and small town upbringing and perhaps, that¡¯s why things are still good between us," he added.?
