Comedian Sunil Pal opens up about terrifying kidnapping incident in Haridwar: 'They blindfolded me...'

Comedian Sunil Pal has revealed some shocking details about him being kidnapped. Sunil, in a recent interview, talked about his disappearance that made headlines. Wondering what the whole matter is? The comedian's wife, Sunita, on December 2 rushed to the Santacruz Police Station in Mumbai to file a complaint of her husband's missing.

The family realised that Sunil was missing after he became unresponsive to calls for several hours while travelling to Haridwar for an event. The comedian returned to Mumbai the next day but has now shared shocking details on where he was. He has revealed that he was kidnapped and even asked for a ransom of around Rs 8 lakh.

The kidnapping incident explained:

Sunil, while giving interviews to media outlets like Times Now and Telly Talk India, explained how he got into a scam under the name of an event invitation in Haridwar.

Sunil said when he arrived at the venue, he was taken to some place. Sunil soon realised that something was wrong at that moment. Sunil further added the kidnappers demanded lakhs from him and threatened him for life.

Sunil shared that after getting the amount asked, basically the ransom, the kidnappers arranged a flight for him to come back to Mumbai. The comedian said, “They blindfolded me, gave me Rs 20,000 for expenses, and instructed me to leave after 10–12 minutes. Once I removed the blindfold, I found myself near the airport.”

The experience that Sunil Pal shared with the media is terrifying and should be taken as a warning call. This shows how risky it can be for celebrities to accept unknown invitations.

As per the latest media reports, concerned authorities are now investigating the matter.
