Dia Mirza, Renuka Shahane & Others Support Kangana Ranaut, Condemn BMC's 'Revenge Demolition'
One day after the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) served a notice to Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut for illegal construction at her office in Bandra West, the civic body reportedly started demolishing her office after citing "structural violations". Incidentally, this happened on the same day as she arrived in Mumbai.?
The actress has now shared a video message for?Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray. In the video, she says she is thankful for the "cruelty" he has shown and that his ego will also be demolished some day in the same manner.?
She also compared her plight to the Kashmiri Pandits.?
Several celebrities including Renuka Shahane and Dia Mirza among others have supported Kangana. They say they don't agree with her many of the past statements. However, they are appalled by? BMC's "revenge demolition."
The Bombay High Court has issued a stay order on BMC¡¯s demolition drive at Kangana Ranaut's office in Mumbai after she filed a plea against the drive.
