Snake Venom Case: Elvish Yadav's Parents Break Down On Live TV, Say 'This Isn't His Upbringing'

Elvish Yadav's arrest in the snake venom case has been making headlines for the past few days. Several reports suggest that the Bigg Boss OTT season 2 winner has admitted to the crime. Furthermore, the Police said that he supplied snake venom, which is used as a drug, for rave parties "to make a statement that he has got swag or bhaukaal". His parents meanwhile are adamant that their son is innocent.?

While talking about the snake venom case, Elvish Yadav's parents who appeared on a news channel recently defended their son. They couldn't hold back their tears.

In a video doing the rounds, Elvish Yadav's father?Ram Avtar Yadav?can be heard saying, "Kisi ki galti ka natija hum bhugat rahe hain (We are bearing the brunt of someone else's fault). My son is innocent and everyone knows this. The whole world knows that my son did not do anything wrong."

"He is only 25 years old. No one can just come and say that Elvish has done this or that. But we are the ones who suffer in the end. How will we live like this? We will see for a few days, but we don't think we can live like this," he said and added, "This is not Elvish's upbringing and he has no connection with all these things. We have complete faith in God as well as in the judicial system".

Elvish Yadav's mother?Sushma Yadav said that they have not eaten in past three days. "Vo innocent hai. Usse hassi mazak karne ki aadat hai. Vo maa baap ka sar girane walo mein nahi hai (He is innocent. I have a habit of joking with him. He is not one to despise his parents)." She added that people are jealous of his popularity.?
