"Inse game crack hi nahi ho raha... hit koi track hi nahi ho raha... yahan phir maine scene change kiya... aur kuch logo ka comeback hi nahi ho raha"
Many believed that these lines from Badshah's hit track Gone Girl were written in reference to Yo Yo Honey Singh who has been struggling to hit charts after a brief break due to drug addiction. While Honey Singh made a lot of allegations against Badshah in his recent interview, now the DJ Wale Babu crooner has shared his side of the story. Here are five explosive things Badshah said in response to Honey Singh's fiery claims!
When asked about his tiff with Badshah, Singh said that he was just a client for him. His father had come to him to launch his son's music album. In response to this, Badshah revealed how he shared a close bond with Singh who once drove to him because he wasn't feeling good after a breakup. He said they would often "chill" together, and create songs together but despite paying Rs 11 lakhs in total, Singh never made his album and instead gave his career priority, which is why he parted ways with him.?
Honey Singh had also claimed that Badshah was never a part of Mafia Mundeer, Badshah on the other hand said that he was indeed a part of the group and one of the first members. The five OGs of Mafia Mundeer as per Genda Phool singer were Lil Golu, Ikka, Badshah, Honey Singh and Raftaar.?
While Singh claimed that he wrote both these songs, Badshah once again clarified that he had written Brown Rang entirely and rap for Angreji Beat. "I remember in 2011 Honey Singh called me to mix a song. At that time I had written Brown Rang. He had the beat. But he had written something weird. I said that something strong should be written on it. Then I wrote Brown Rang," he said.?Even Gippy Grewal in the past had clarified the same. "That song has been written by Gippy Paaji, I have written its rap", Badshah said.?
Badshah revealed how he met Honey Singh and said, "I had completed my B.Tech in 2006. This was the same year. I was rapping simultaneously. I used to work in a private company. I used to go to studios then. I used to go to a place there. The manager of that place was Anup Singh. He used to manage Honey Singh as well. At that time I had made a song. Anup also heard it and said that you make good songs. So you should work with Honey Singh. But I knew Honey Singh from before. Then Anup got me to talk to Honey Singh and after that we met."
He said that he gave Rs 11 lakhs in instalment to Honey Singh for his album but that never happened. In fact, in their first song together Get Up Jawani, he was totally discredited. The title on YouTube still reads, "Yo Yo Honey Singh Feat Kashmira Shah".
Honey Singh said that he might do songs with Raftaar, Ikka and Lil Golu, he wouldn't ever collaborate with Badshah ever again. In his latest interview with The Lallantop, Badshah also reflected same thoughts. While Honey said that he won't work with Badshah because of his diss tracks against him, Badshah clarified that they don't have the same intent towards their work anymore. He said that while Honey Singh wants fame, he wants to do good work.?
