Actor-singer Saba Azad frequently receives attacks on social media just for being the girlfriend of actor Hrithik Roshan. She never hesitates to strike back at trolls, though and manages to tackle it all. She revealed in an interview that she has grown "thick skin" over time and is undeterred by misconduct on the internet.
According to Saba, she doesn't post much on social media, occasionally for a few days at a period before taking a month-long hiatus.
?¡°I am quite terrible with social media. I post for three days in a row and then I disappear for a month. In a way, for performing artists, it has become sort of a portfolio. It¡¯s a ¡®Can¡¯t live with, can¡¯t live without¡¯ kind of relationship. It is a means to earn a living with brands and ads. Outside of that, as the dissatisfaction of the population rises, so does this kind of behaviour online. If you are a happy person, you won¡¯t make fake accounts and troll people. Why would I care about someone from back and beyond, who is faceless, nameless, and frustrated with their lives?" she said.
Saba clarified that she attempts to see the occurrence in a new light rather than becoming furious. She revealed that at first, she wondered why people were interested in her when she was just going about her daily routine. She eventually realised, though, that it was a sad thing that wasn't worth her sleep. She went on to say that although she has now grown thick-skinned, she still occasionally feels the need to reply even though she has frequently turned the other cheek. "You can¡¯t keep coming at me and expect me to stay silent," she said, making it clear that she doesn¡¯t give a damn about what these people think.
?For those who don¡¯t know, Saba on the work front was last seen in the Zee5 series Crime Beat.
