For his latest episode of Patriot Act, comedian Hasan Minhaj went out on the streets in the US to ask Asian communities about the presidential elections. However, things turned hilarious when he interacted with some Indians.
What went down exactly? Well, Hasan was talking to a woman of Indian descent if she thinks ¡°we have arrived¡±, when a fellow Indian interrupts their conversation to call him anti-Indian.
¡°Hasan! You¡¯re anti-Indian man. You are not respecting our Indian! Modi! Go Modi!¡±, the man who was dressed up in a colourful kediyu and tri-coloured turban said.?
¡°You should respect Modi, India and Hindus,¡± he says and adds that Hasan is from Sacramento.
This wasn't all. He then happily poses for a picture with the comedian and says, ¡°Even though we have a difference of opinion, he is a good guy.¡±?
Hasan Minhaj posted the video on Twitter with a caption that reads, ¡°Indian political discourse in 2019¡±.
For the unversed, after his politically charged show Patriotic Act went viral and embroiled controversies for taking a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi while trying to analyse the current state of politics and break down Lok Sabha elections 2019, Hasan Minhaj and his crew were reportedly not allowed to enter the venue where PM Modi¡¯s event 'Howdy Modi' took place, a while ago.??
