Actress Jacqueline Fernandez has been granted pre-arrest bail by a Delhi court in the Rs 200 crore extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekar on Tuesday.?
Reportedly, the actress was granted bail on a personal bond of Rs. 2 lakh. On Thursday, Delhi's Patiala House court reserved its order after hearing arguments from lawyers representing both Jacqueline Fernandez and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) as well.?
The court had earlier granted interim protection from arrest to Jacqueline Fernandez on September 26.?
During the arguments, the court had questioned the central agency for not arresting Fernandez during their investigation of the Sukesh Chandrashekhar extortion case.?
The court further noted, ¡°You can¡¯t have a pick-and-choose policy. There must be reasons for not arresting (an accused).¡±?
Meanwhile, Jacqueline Fernandez actress always maintained calm despite the troubles she has been going through ever since her name cropped up in the list of people accused in conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar's money laundering case.?
