Kabir Singh is a special film for the entire team and for several special reasons. The film had crossed the Rs 100 crore mark within a few weeks of release and became Shahid Kapoor's first solo century. The film, which also features Kiara Advani in a pivotal role went on to become one of the biggest hits of 2019.
Despite getting mixed reviews and not releasing on a holiday, the movie emerged as the fourth biggest Hindi opener at the domestic box office. After four weeks of controversies, debates and mixed-word of mouth, Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani's Kabir Singh has crossed a month of release.

'Kabir Singh' is the Hindi remake of Telugu hit 'Arjun Reddy.' The original blockbuster starred Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey. Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who also directed the original film, 'Kabir Singh' tells the story of a short-tempered surgeon Kabir Singh (Shahid) who goes on a path of self-destruction, consuming drugs and alcohol after he cannot marry the love of his life Preeti (Kiara).
