Recently, the Life of Pi actor?won best actor award at?Indo-German film week, and now he has won the hearts of the audiences with his performance in the third season of international show?Star Trek: Discovery.

In the show that also stars David Ajala, Michelle Yeoh, Sonequa Martin-Green and Doug Jones, English Vinglish fame Hussain essays the role of Aditya Sahil, who is the sole member of Starfleet and has spent about 40 years cooped up alone in the space station waiting for an officer to walk through the door, and hence, bring him some hope.

Adil Hussain has hailed the show for its most inclusive cast he has ever seen.

"It's an extremely privileged position I would say. Being [among the] very few people from India to be a part of Star Trek. I am grateful to my agent and also I am very grateful to the directors who'd selected me. [I am] extremely happy to be a part of it and it's coming out soon," he had earlier told India Today.?
