After many years, Nana Patekar has finally spoken about his rumoured ex-girlfriend, Manisha Koirala. He praised her performance in the newly released Netflix show "Heeramandi," directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Although he watched the series and admired her work, he didn't reach out to congratulate her, wondering why? Well, he said he did not have her current phone number.
"Heeramandi," which premiered on Netflix in May, featured Manisha as Mallikajaan, earning acclaim from critics and fans alike. Speaking to The Lallantop recently, Nana described Manisha as a "great actress," stating, "Bohot accha kaam kiya" (She's done a very good job).

When asked if he had reached out to congratulate her, Nana paused before responding, "Phone number woh same nahi hai shayad ab" (Her phone number isn't the same anymore, I think).
For those unfamiliar, Nana and Manisha reportedly dated secretly during the filming of "Agni Sakshi" in 1996. At that time, Manisha had just ended a relationship with Vivek Mushran. Their relationship allegedly began when she was drawn to Nana's personality while he was separated from his wife, Neelakanti. During their collaboration on "Khamoshi," Nana didn't hide their romance. However, reports indicate their relationship ended after Nana reportedly betrayed her.
In the same interview, Nana also addressed the MeToo allegations made by Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta against him. He dismissed the accusations, saying, "I knew it was all a lie. That's why I wasn't angry. When everything is a lie, why should I be angry? These things are in the past. Everyone knew the truth. What could I say when nothing happened?"
The MeToo allegations against Nana Patekar accused him of misconduct and inappropriate behaviour towards Tanushree Dutta during the shooting of a film in 2008. Tanushree Dutta alleged that Nana Patekar had harassed her on set, which sparked a significant controversy and renewed discussions about harassment and misconduct in the Indian entertainment industry.
