Nusrat Jahan's marriage with Nikhil Jain is "not legally valid", said Kolkata Court.?The marriage between actor turned Trinamool Congress MP and the city-based businessman was held in Turkey.
"It is declared that the alleged marriage held on 19/06/2019 at Bodrum, Turkey in between the plaintiff and the defendant is not legally valid," Civil Judge S Roy of 2nd court, Alipore, ordered.
The couple didn't register their marriage and also being Hindu and Muslim never got married under the Special Marriage Act, "so their consensual union cannot be treated as a marriage."?
Nikhil Jain had filed for annulment earlier.?
After their wedding in June 2019, the couple had hosted a grand reception in Kolkata where several film personalities from Tollywood and chief minister Mamata Banerjee were seen too.?

As of now, Nusrat is reportedly dating actor-politician Yash Dasgupta. They welcomed their first child, a son, named Yishaan in August.
