The life of two Indian nuclear physicists who cast their shadow of talent on the world -- Homi Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai, the principal architect of India's nuclear energy program and the physicist who initiated space research and helped develop nuclear power in India -- is soon getting a cinematic adaptation.
Essaying their role in the forthcoming web series titled Rocket Boys are?Jim Sarbh and Ishwak Singh.
The makers have revealed the first look of the two actors and they look impressive in the role of the?nuclear physicists.
Directed by Abhay Pannu and Siddharth Roy Kapur, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, Nikkhil Advani, Rocket Boys is based on the life of the two prominent scientists that India has ever had.
Talking about Homi Bhabha, Jim Sarbh who will portray his role in the SonyLiv show, said in a statement,?"These guys, Vikram and Homi, were just so fascinating. Two young men with fantastical dreams for their country, who just kept at it, working and working, to bring their visions into reality, to make their country a scientific superpower. And all the while, through toil and trouble, they managed to have colorful exuberant lives, as well! I can¡¯t wait for the audience to watch it on SonyLIV."
About his role as Vikram Sarabhai, Ishwak Singh who was last seen and praised for his role in Paatal Lok, said,?"Stories pertaining to our homeland and the nation¡¯s spirit have always garnered interest from audiences. I am proud to be a part of ¡®Rocket Boys¡¯, which presents the journey of Indian scientists and their extraordinary work for space and nuclear research and education. The release date of Rocket Boys has not been announced as of yet.
