It has been years since Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been planning their wedding, but it seems finally it's happening. When people had stopped believing the rumours, the families of the lovebirds confirmed that they are indeed tying the knot this month.?
"Yes, the wedding is happening and I have been invited," Alia Bhatt's brother Rahul Bhatt told ETimes. "I?will be there for the ceremonies. However, I am not going to sing and dance. I am a gym instructor by profession and I will be there in the capacity of a bouncer. I will be the?rakshak?at the wedding.
Alia's uncle Robin Bhatt has also told India Today that the wedding is scheduled to take place on April 14 and the Mehendi ceremony will be held on April 13th. Some other reports suggest that the wedding is happening on April 17th, because Alia and Ranbir are both busy until April 12.?
Ranbir Kapoor's mother Neetu Kapoor said that she would have loved to celebrate and talk about the wedding openly, but "kids today are different. Both of them are private people."
She also ETimes what kind of relationship she hopes to share with Alia, "My relationship with my mother-in-law was outstanding. She loved me more than her son (Rishi Kapoor). We were friends. We spoke about everything under the sun, and I would complain about my husband to her. We were very open. I hope I have the same equation with Alia because she is also outstanding and amazing."
Alia and Ranbir have been dating each other for five years now. They will get married in a hush-hush ceremony.?
