Secret Superstar Actress Zaira Wasim Reveals Why She Can't Take Up A Glamourous Role Ever

Kashmiri girl Zaira Wasim rose to fame with her very first film Dangal (2016). The little one is now gearing up for her second film Secret Superstar with Aamir Khan again. She is just 17, but she is way too mature for the roles she is taking up and we couldn't be more proud. Looking at her executing confidence, we quizzed her about her quality.

“Yes, but I really don’t know how, may be it has changed me over time with the very little experience I have had.” She even added that she has learned a lot in life in a very short span of time.

We also asked Zaira that if she will ever play a glamorous role, she replied,

?“No. I don’t think I am the kind of person who will be comfortable with that. For me, acting is not about the fame and glamour, for me it holds a special importance in my heart. Acting is a special feeling for me and I would like this to be as it is.”

When asked if this decision may backfire her in becoming successful in Bollywood, she said,

?“It doesn’t matter, it’s not that I am crazy about Bollywood, I am not even sure that I will continue or not. I am still exploring.”

At this tender age Dangal girl has achieved a lot, especially from where she hails it’s a big deal. But even then, Zaira feels she can never ever be anyone’s role model,

“I don’t think I am good enough to be a role model. I don’t want to be one. I cannot comprehend the fact of someone dedicating their entire ambitions, opinion and belief to one person they don’t even know. I keep saying it rather than following someone’s footsteps, or following my path make your own.”

Zaira is a lucky kid to have Aamir Khan as her father and mentor on screen. Talking about the superstar she said, “Meeting Aamir Khan was very casual which was unexpected. He came as a surprise to us. The first time I met him was when I went for the audition of Dangal and on the second day of audition he entered and was so casual and chilled out with us which was surprising” The little one is so inspired with AK that she wants to learn everything from him and one thing she wants from the superstar is his dedication, passion and punctuality towards work.

She even shared the reason behind saying yes to Secret Superstar, “The script is beautiful and of course AK (Aamir Khan) and his team was one of the reason to say yes as I have already worked with them. My parents love AK and they agreed for Secret Superstar because it is Aamir Khan Film”.

Zaira’s excitement for her second film is totally legit. We hope she will manage to create the same magic like she did in Dangal.
