Reality shows are supposed to be real, right? Most Indian talent hunt shows have now been reduced to drama. Everything feels scripted and staged, doesn't it??
The clip often goes viral on social media. In the video, singer Neeti Mohan - who has lent her voice to some popular tracks like?Ishq Wala Love, Jiya Re and Nainowale Ne among others, forgets the lyrics of the song when Rahul Vaidya who is singing a duet with her steps to help her and sings her lines too until she remembers the lyrics.?
While we have only seen this clip going viral several times, most of us don't remember that the judges of the show including Shaan, Mika and Shankar Mahadevan got into an ugly argument after that.?
Was this scripted? Or was it real? Some fans think we were "too naive" to believe that this wasn't scripted back then, others think the fight was authentic.?
In an interview with India Today, Neeti Mohan spilled the beans and said, "I blacked out and forgot. Overnight, our song had to be changed and then I just kind of forgot the lyrics. I felt so lost and I thought I don't know what to do and I told Rahul and he sang the antara."
She added, "I think it can happen to anyone and I feel it was a learning lesson for me. I don't want to be in that kind of pressure ever. It was the pressure more than anything else that made me crumble. I promised myself that day I will never put this kind of pressure on myself anytime for anything. It's not worth it. I feel we are human beings and this is how we learn. I am glad it happened to me because after that it taught me how to not take pressure and not forget the lyrics. I still forget the lyrics but I don't take pressure about it."
